JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Purpose: Support of the Princeton ISD Desktop Environment
Provide Princeton ISD with an effective and professional resource for managing helpdesk tickets. Providing support to Princeton ISD Students / Staff to solve technical problems.

Special Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Ability to function in a team based environment with the ability to share knowledge and a willingness to learn from other team members.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Basic computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Entry level experience in the computer repair field
- Printer maintenance and troubleshooting

Major Responsibilities and Duties
Computer Network – responsible for the day to day operations of the user environment through-out Princeton ISD, working helpdesk tickets which could include the following tasks:
- Respond to helpdesk tickets
- Image and troubleshoot and Windows and Apple workstations
- Document processes used by Princeton ISD
- Help new users get oriented with the Princeton ISD network
- Perform all other duties assigned.
- Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues (wired / wireless)
- Perform maintenance on Classroom Audio / Visual devices

- Several tasks and projects open simultaneously. Maintaining composure under pressure is a necessity at all times. Some after-hour and weekend work required for maintenance, upgrades, and installations. Must be able to lift PC’s and printers.
